You know what it's like to sit in the dark

and watch something unfold

To wrap yourself in the night

the emptiness around you

Indulge in what takes you further

from the reality you know

To have a secret

A discovery of that which should not be

And yet you found it

A pocket consistently opening

and closing that door between early night and dawn

is one of those times

where I hope you'll come back
